Martindale PD690S Proving Unit
In order to prove the performance of a two-pole voltage tester, it is important to test it with a known voltage source. The Martindale PD690S Proving Unit provides such a source with an output of 690V at 50Hz. The output is produced when the two probes of the voltage tester are pressed down on the terminals of the proving unit and lasts for up to 10 seconds.
The Martindale PD690S has an LED low battery indication and also a warning LED that shows when the voltage is being generated. The unit comes with a two-year warranty and is powered by six 1.5V AA batteries. An MG3 magnetic hanger is supplied with the instrument.
