Martindale NC2 Non-Contact Voltage Detector
The Martindale NC2 Non-Contact Voltage Detector is an ergonomic voltage tester that is capable of detecting AC voltage from 200V to 1000V with a frequency of 40Hz to 400Hz. Detection is optimised for 230V 50-60Hz domestic systems. When voltage is detected, a clear red LED indication is shown and there is also an audible buzzer warning.
The extended tip of the Martindale NC2 makes it suitable for tricky or awkward spaces and it can detect voltage from a distance of 4mm. It is a useful instrument for tracing live circuits within cable containment and detecting voltage in sockets and junction boxes, for example when differentiating live and neutral wires and detecting blown fuses.
The Martindale NC2 has a handy, pen-shaped design with a clip that will fit on the user’s belt. It has a built-in torch and an over voltage category of Cat IV 1000V.
