Martindale EZ165 Socket and Non-Trip Earth Loop Tester
The Martindale EZ165 Socket Non-Trip Earth Loop Tester is a highly sophisticated piece of kit, useful for any tasks which involve servicing or installing mains powered electrical and gas appliances. This device not only detects 28 socket wiring fault conditions and checks the mains voltage levels, it also clearly determines the condition of the earth wiring.
Where basic socket testers only recognise the presence of an earth wire, and do so regardless if the resistance values are distinctly unsafe, the Martindale EZ165 employs a non-trip earth loop test to prevent malfunctions and stops the risk of user electrocution. Results of the test are indicated in 6 discrete ranges from less than 1.7Ω to 500Ω.
Designed with sturdiness in mind, the Martindale EZ165 identifies socket polarity and wiring faults, displaying them in a user-friendly manner through an intuitive red and green LEDs system.
The EZ165 replaces the Martindale EZ150.
